#1 Reason I chose the internet..
The freedom! I started playing online doing ppc stuff in November 2005 from the advice of a good friend Shoemoney. All of 2006 was a huge learning experience from learning how to write html to installing a blog. Prior to my new found interest, I had no idea how to do anything online besides check my email. I’m still a “newbie” learning to code in php and trying to build quality membership sites that provide recurring/subscription based income. In my opinion that is where the real money is. Anybody can stumble into some quick money doing ppc, but you can’t build a business from it because of the nature of the internet. Everything changes at lightning speeds leaving the people doing archaic marketing in the dust. PPC is great for testing a market and then building a quality site around your data if the data shows a way to make some money.
Going back to freedom. I work from home (about 4-5 hrs a day now). When I started I was sitting at my computer 16-20 hrs a day. Seriously! I was free to do what I wanted but found myself in my own prison. My health started to deteriate because of the lack of movement and the horrible fast food I was chowing down. Not good. For me, I’ve found that I need to be busy doing other “active” things throughout the day, which helps me focus more intently when I’m on this computer working on my business. The internet has saved me from working for the man and making someone else a fortune. I am truly free.

Many people choose a job where they have a kind of freedom. In such cases as you have, people really have freedom, as they can work from home.
Blogging is really difficult. you have to be very creative to be able to write something interesting for people. I’ve read quite a few things about how to make money online but I believe that the key factor is creativity
