Seriously, could I name drop a few more times! I’ve noticed that in the small amount of posts here to this blog, I’ve mentioned Shoemoney in all but one post. Here is the one post on his blog that he mentions me. I believe I was 2 months into marketing online at the time. I broke my internet virginity doing ppc with google adwords selling customized Nike shoewear. It was an incredible thrill ride of watching my click thru rate climb higher (as well as my total ad spend) and the money came pouring in.., all $300 dollars of it 
Ahhh, the good ole days. What am I doing now you ask? Learning the blackhat white ninja arts what else? Seriously, I’ve gotten away from ppc (need to get back in) and have trained for many months learning stealthy SEO tactics. I’m no Shoemoney or even a JohnChowDotCom, but maybe someday they’ll be blogging about me. It could happen…..
Here is my marketing tip for today: Become effective by being selective.

This great new blogging network called BlogRush has given me the boost I needed to pull my head out, post to this blog and rethink the whole blogging phenomena! As you can see, I started this blog in Spring of 2006 under the instruction of Mr. Shoemoney himself but got sidetracked doing other internet marketing stuff i.e., affiliate marketing & email marketing. Well, it has been over a year and I’ve learned a ton of new tricks, made more money than ever, but also spent more money than I’ve ever made before in my life. I certainly have paid big time for this bachelors of internet marketing degree and then some. Back to this whole BlogRush thing…, as you can see in the top right corner, a list of other blogs are displayed in the BlogRush Widget that relate to the topics of this blog. This is where it gets crazy…, I can’t even begin to explain it so go here to check it out for yourself. Feels good to be back.. anyone know a good blog designer??

Showing a little love at the local Max Muscle sportin’ the Shoemoey Shirt!! I know that word on the street says shoemoney will represent at the UFC fights having Matt Hughes and company wearing shoemoney shirts. Well, I did the next big thing. Got my picture with the top fitness model and cover girl (Priscilla Tuft), Former UFC Champion (Randy Couture), and UFC Heavyweight Champion (Tim “the Mainiac” Sylvia). Hey shoemoney…, can you top that? Oh yeah, I forgot you have a picture with Paris Hilton.., oh well.

Shoemoney has a webcast radio show on webmasterradio.fm every Tuesday at 5p.m. central time called “Net Income.” He discusses different ways of making money online. He asked me to be his co-host for his show on PPC(pay per click advertising). If you would like to listen to the show go here.
It was a great experience! We took callers and questions from the webmaster radio chat room on PPC and other contextual advertising strategies. In the future, I hope to be Shoemoney’s wingman and further my knowledge of this incredible profit generating business.

MSN Adcenter is good for buying low cost clicks for your advertising campaigns, but when you need help, forget it! One of my campaigns’ max cpc was somehow changed from 5 cents to $47.84 per click due to a software malfunction. Due to this error I spent thousands of dollars in one days time, they tried to charge my credit card for this horrendous amount and my card was declined. Due to my card being declined my campaigns stopped running and any “priviledge” I had in pausing campaigns or editting them, was suspended. Okay, you can just smell how upset I am right now. It has been over 5 days, I’ve emailed and talked to 5 different people claiming they will look into this matter meanwhile, my ads are not running, I cannot make any money, and I have this huge debt to pay until they credit my account back. This could be months. MSN has some serious issues to work out until I can totally trust them again. What really stinks is that I need them for the low cost clicks. Google just plain costs too much(the rich get richer over at Google) Anybody else have problems with MSN?

Michael Cheney out of the U.K., has released his very informative video series on making money with adsense. I must say, his strategies are simple, but extremely effective. There are 9 videos plus bonus features that walk you step by step into making money with Adsense. Once I ordered them, I spent the next 4 hours watching, taking notes, and implementing his techniques into my sites. Within, a few days, I DOUBLED my earnings! Powerfull stuff here my friends. So, I’ve been experimenting with contextual advertising on a few of my sites and decided to give chitika a try. I’ve learned to fire and forget different money making strategies rather than micro manage every hour of the day. Honestly, I had forgotten that I’d integrated chitika. I just checked my account (for the first time in over a month) and baam! Looks like I need to take this idea a little more serious. Instead of just showing contextual advertising like google, yahoo, or now msn does, chitika puts a little mini-mall in place of an ad showing pictures and prices of specific products related to your site. It’s a beautiful thing. If your looking to try something different give chitika a try.
